We focus on industrial crop production that tackles two modern challenges: the shortage of quality food and depletion of natural resources. Our approach relies on precise engineering and reproducible technologies that scale in any climate.
Focus areas
The division works across three connected tracks:
Clean food production
We grow vegetables and greens in closed automated systems. Full control of nutrients, light spectrum, temperature, and humidity eliminates pesticides and herbicides, minimizes water use, and delivers stable year-round harvests for retail, hospitality, and consumers who demand verified clean products.
Star-Agro-Box: autonomous modules for demanding locations
Our containerized vertical farm is fully automated and independent of soil and outdoor climate. Star-Agro-Box supplies food where traditional farming is impossible or uneconomic:
- Desert regions with extreme heat
- Permafrost zones and Arctic settlements
- Long-range vessels and offshore platforms
- Island nations dependent on food imports
The module needs only power and water. Climate control, feeding, and plant monitoring are automated. One operator can manage hundreds of boxes remotely.
Industrial alternative raw materials
We cultivate fast-growing technical crops to reduce pressure on forests:
- Paulownia — short rotation timber (5–7 years) for construction, furniture, and bioenergy; strong CO₂ uptake and regrowth after harvest.
- Industrial hemp — fiber for pulp and paper, yielding 4–5× more fiber per hectare than forest on an annual cycle, easing pressure on logging where substitution makes sense.
